From encouraging healthy lifestyles and helping individuals cope with illness to providing support to grieving children who have lost a loved one, St. John Providence Community Health offers many health and wellness programs to meet the diverse needs of the community, regardless of economic status and physical condition.
St. John Providence Health System provides more than $200 million in uncompensated care annually to individuals in the community. With so many who are unemployed, uninsured or underinsured, the need for Community Health services is great.
Gifts to Community Health assist us in strengthening our programs for those in need. For example, our Community Health Centers provide services from preventive care to the treatment of acute illness and chronic diseases; our School-based Health Centers help thousands of children with limited access to health care receive the services they need, while the Parish Nurse Program addresses the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of families in faith communities. In addition, the Infant Mortality Project assists in building stronger families and reducing the infant mortality rate, and our community education and outreach programs offer educational classes, health fairs, health screenings and more.
Your donation to Community Health will enhance our health and wellness programs and go a long way in helping us continue our Mission to serve all those in need.
