Pink and Blue United for a Cause

5K Cancer Walk/Run

Team Angels is hosting their 5th Annual Pink and Blue United for a Cause 5K walk/run. The event begins and ends at Stony Creek Metro Park (Baypointe) on Sunday, May 5, 2013. All are encouraged to participate in this community event. So get ready to get those bodies moving for a good cause.

Net proceeds from the event will benefit all cancer patients in our community who come for healing at the Van Elslander Cancer Center and Webber Cancer Centers and their satellites.

Things to know:

Cancer survivors are welcome to come and walk the One Mile Survivor walk
A snack and refreshments will be provided during/after the walk at Stony Creek Park.
The sign up fee for the walk is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. Participants who register by Tuesday, April 16 will be guaranteed a complimentary t-shirt.

Collect Pledges

Go the extra mile to help support all cancer patients in our community by raising pledges for the Pink and Blue United for a Cause walk/run. For walker’s interested in collecting pledges, complete our walker pledge form.

For those unable to participate, you can show your support by making a monetary donation or becoming a volunteer.

Event Sponsorship Opportunities are also available for $200. Event Sponsorship commitments must be made by Tuesday, April 16 to secure your name on the t-shirt.
