Inpatient care

Inpatient and specialized outpatient care at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit, and Providence Park Hospital, Novi.

St. John Hospital offers a 52-bed inpatient unit, neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, a pediatric emergency department, pediatric surgery program, and pediatric hematology and oncology center, as well as many other specialties.

Providence Park Hospital in Novi offers a 10 bed in-patient unit with all private rooms, a play room and a treatment room (where painful procedures are done- keeping the child’s room a safe place).

The Special Care Nursery in Novi cares for preterm and moderately ill newborns staffed around the clock with Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.

A 15 bed NICU is located in Southfield at Providence Hospital. Staffed with Neonatologists, this unit is able to care for acutely ill newborns & preterm babies.
