The Towel Hat Project USA

Towel Hat Project USA

Towel Hats are unique head wear made from comfortable, breathable, washable, lightweight terry cloth. The hats are designed for patients who have lost their hair due to chemo or other reasons. The Towel Hat project which started in Iwate prefecture, Japan in 2009 is looking for continued success at the Providence Center for the Healing Arts.

This group, lead by volunteer Toshi Fujita and supported by Mieko Inaba and Kikuko Kobayashi, meets monthly to hand sew hats that will be donated to patients. .Join us if you’d like to sew and be a part of an international project that provides comfort for cancer patients. All are welcome!
