Our Physicians

Allan Emery, M.D.  Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Emery is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He graduated summa cum laude from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Emery completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Sinai Hospital where he was named OB/GYN Resident of the Year 1976; received an Individual Award for Extraordinary Dedication in 1974; was named OB/GYN Attending Physician of the year 1987.
Dr. Emery is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His special interests include general gynecology, alternatives to hysterectomy, and minimally invasive surgery.

Lakshmi Gavini, M.D.  Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology 
Lakshmi Gavini, MD, has been giving care to women for the past 20 years with devotion and compassion for pregnant women, including prenatal care and delivery services.
As of January 1, 1999, Dr. Gavini will limit her practice to Gynecology only. She has extensive experience in gynecology and gynecological surgery, including abdominal and vaginal surgery, laparascopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy and surgeries for urinary incontinence.

Her special areas of interest include menopause, osteoporosis, laparascopic surgery and vaginal gynecological surgery. Dr. Gavini is a graduate of Guntur Medical College, India. In 1978, she completed her OB/GYN residency training at Providence Hospital and has been on staff since then.

Robert Dodds, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.  Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Robert Dodds, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. He provides care for women during pregnancy, as well as routine gynecologic care. His special areas of interest include infertility, urinary incontinence and disorders of the pelvic floor (prolapse).
Dr. Dodds is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Providence Hospital. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Thomas Dolnicek, M.D.   Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Thomas F. Dolnicek, MD, is a native of Nebraska and a 1978 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency.

Dr. Dolnicek was in private practice in Omaha until moving to Michigan in 1992. He has taken advanced training and has special expertise in urogynecology and pelvic floor disorders.

He is a member of the Nebraska Air National Guard and serves as the State Air Surgeon for Nebraska.
