Dr. Claybrooks is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and his focus is on adult spine disorders. He is part of a multidisciplinary practice which emphasizes a comprehensive approach with expertise in extensive adult spine revisions, pediatric scoliosis reconstruction, minimally invasive percutaneous surgery and motion preservation technology. Dr. Claybrooks was featured in Detroit Free Press for his charity work with inner city students.
Dr. Claybrooks trained under the supervision of both neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons in his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation where he gained insight in the surgical treatment of complex spine disorders. His is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Wayne State University College of Medicine. Dr. Roderick Claybrooks was chosen by the "Guide to Top Orthopedists" in 2007.
