Dr. Saberi is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology. Dr. Saberi is the current Section Chief of Pediatric Nephrology at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He graduated from the University of Tehran Medical School in Iran. He completed his Pediatric residency and nephrology fellowship at New Jersey Medical School and Medical University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the International Pediatric Nephrology Association. He has
presented several abstracts and published papers in various medical journals. He was honored twice with the Instructor of the Year at St. John Hospital and named one of the area's "Top Docs" by Hour Detroit magazine. He has special interest in urinary tract infections, nephrotic syndrome, hypertension, proteinuria, and hematuria. Dr. Saberi was named by his peers as one of the area's top pediatric nephrologists in Hour Detroit magazine's 2005 and 2008 "Top Docs" rankings.
