James D. Bookout, MD
Dr. James Bookout is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in artificial joints, shoulder, and hip and knee problems. Procedures performed include: minimally invasive knee replacement; minimally invasive hip replacement; shoulder arthroscopy; and knee arthroscopy.
Dr. Bookout received his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 1989. He attended Wayne State University where he earned his medical degree in 1993. Dr. Bookout completed a general surgery internship and an orthopedic surgical residency. He received specialty training in adult joint reconstruction as a fellow at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is fellowship trained in total joint replacement and joint revision surgery.
Dr. Bookout also served as a general medical officer in the United States Navy. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Kenneth R. Cervone, MD
Dr. Kenneth Cervone received his undergraduate degree in biology with Cum Laude honors from Wayne State University in 1987 and his medical degree from Wayne State University in 1991. He completed his internship and orthopedic surgical residency at Grace Hospital in 1996 and is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
Steven J. Cusick, MD
Dr. Cusick received his undergraduate degree in biology as well as his Masters degree In Occupational and Environmental Health from Wayne State University. He completed his medical degree from Michigan State University In 1985. He completed an internal medicine residency at McLaren General Hospital. Dr. Cusick also completed an Orthopedic Surgical residency with specialty rotations in Pediatrics, as well as hand and spine disease. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Michael R. Demers, MD
Dr. Demers specializes in hip and knee surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Wayne State University in 1979. Dr. Demers attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his medical degree in 1983. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery, which included a specialty rotation at Shriner Hospital for Crippled Children.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Michigan Orthopaedic Society and the Mid-American Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Demers was named by his peers as one of the area's top orthopedic specialists in Hour Detroit magazine's 2005 and 2008 "Top Docs" rankings.

Donald F. Garver, MD
Dr. Garver specializes in hip and knee surgery. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Julie L. Henry-Kelly, MD
Dr. Henry specializes in Sports Medicine, total joint arthroplasty fracture care as well as adult and pediatric unicondylar partial knee replacement. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the University of Michigan Orthopedic Society of Surgeons. The mission of her practice is to provide knowledge, care and specialized orthopaedic medical attention to patients.
My practice includes operative and non operative treatment of general orthopaedics and sports medicine. We offer physical and aquatic therapy, massage, and reiki.
Edward S. Jeffries, MD
Dr. Jeffries specializes in hip and knee surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in zoology from Michigan State University in 1968. He attended Wayne State University where he completed his M.D. Biology degree in 1970 and his medical degree In 1974. Dr. Jeffries completed an orthopedic surgical internship and residency in 1978. He received specialty training during fellowships in hand and foot surgery.
He is a member of the Aescapapinas Society, Wayne State University; the American Medical Association, and the Michigan Orthopaedic Society. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgerons. Dr. Jeffries is also a clinical instructor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics.

Christopher L. Lee, MD
Dr. Lee is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery. He has performed thousands of hip and knee replacements. He is director of the St. John Hospital Joint Replacement Center. Dr. Lee also finds time to take care of children with a variety of orthopedic problems such as cerebral palsy, hip dislocations and clubfeet.
Dr. Lee has staff appointments at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Lee is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Detroit Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, Michigan State Medical Society and Michigan Orthopedic Society. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State Unviersity schools of medicine. Dr. Lee completed his orthopedic residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in its affiliated hospital. He completed his fellowship in pediatric surgery at Stanford University. Dr. Lee taught orthopedic surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine for five years before joining St. Clair Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in 1981.
In 2004 and 2008, Dr. Lee was recognized as a "Top Doc" in pediatric orthopedic surgery by Hour magazine in its annual survey.
Richard T. Perry, MD
Dr. Perry is an orthopedic surgeon with special interests in sports medicine and minimally invasive joint replacement. Dr. Perry has staff appointments at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He is an assistant professor at Wayne State University, where he teaches arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Perry is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association. A Detroit-area native, Dr. Perry is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Medicine and completed his residency at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, where his performance placed him as the top orthopedic resident in the nation.
Dr. Perry has extensive experience in mini-incision joint surgery. He has performed over 300 mini-incision knee and hip replacements.
Dr. Perry serves as the Team Physician for Grosse Pointe South High School athletics.
Paul J. Schreck, MD
Dr. Schreck is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Schreck was Chief Resident in Orthopedics from 1995 to 1996 at the University of California at San Diego. He held a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine. He has received an Anatomy award, and Schemm scholarship, a Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship and was in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society at the University of Michigan Medical School.
Kanwaldeep S. Sidhu, MD
Dr. Sidhu is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating disorders of the spine. His expertise includes experience with state-of-the-art conservative treatment for neck pain, back pain, and sciatica, including microdiskectomy, and reconstructive surgery of the cervical and lumbar spine. He has presented several papers at national orthopedic conferences regarding the complex issues in the treatment of spinal disorders. Dr. Sidhu has also co-authored numerous book chapters on topics related to reconstructive spine surgery. Dr. Sidhu is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Mid-American Orthopaedic Society. He is a member of the Michigan Orthopaedic Society and the Michigan State Medical Society. Dr. Sidhu graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan and completed medical school with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at the University of Michigan and further sub specialized in spine surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.
