About Our Pharmacy Department
St. John Hospital and Medical Center Pharmacy Department provides an array of contemporary distributive and clinical services. Computerized unit-dose and IV admixtures services are provided to patient-care units through a central pharmacy and critical-care satellite pharmacy. Formal clinical services include a pharmacokinetic, patient-controlled analgesia, renal dose adjustment and anticoagulation consult services.
Because St. John Hospital and Medical Center is a community teaching hospital, residents gain experience in working with both private and hospital-based attending physicians as well as medical fellows, residents, and students. The resident year will provide opportunities to learn, accomplish and develop critical skills in a well-structured time schedule with other health professionals.
