Through a collaboration of our Van Elslander Neuroscience Center of Excellence and our Cancer Center of Excellence, St. John Providence Health System offers advanced, comprehensive neuro oncology care for patients.

St. John Providence Health System surgeons employ leading-edge techniques to pave the way toward a full recovery. With proficiency in the latest technologies involved in the treatment of oncologic conditions affecting the nervous system, our multi-disciplinary approach utilizes a coordinated team of physicians, clinicians and specialists, including otolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-ophthalmologists, neuro-oncologists and radiation oncologists.

We employ highly specialized surgical techniques, including minimally invasive, endoscopic, microscopic and stereotactic radiosurgery. Intraoperative monitoring equipment and minimally invasive surgical instruments are also utilized. This allows us to treat areas without disturbing surrounding critical and sensitive neurovascular structures in order to deliver the best possible outcomes.
