Choosing a Baby Doctor
A physician will need to examine your baby before you both leave the hospital. That means you should select a Pediatrician or Family Physician who accepts your insurance and meets any requirements that you may have before your baby is born.
Talking with others moms is a great place to start. But be sure you meet the doctor before you make your decision. Just because your friend or relative is pleased with a certain doctor doesn’t mean that you will be. Often, you can schedule an interview visit to meet a doctor. Because some will charge for this visit and some will not, it’s a good idea to ask about the charges first.
St. John Physician Finder resource specialists can also provide you with a wealth of information about our physicians, such as
-
