Prosthetic Clinic


Services

St. John Providence Health System's Prosthetic Clinic is offered through St. John Hospital and Medical Center and provides many services, including:

  • Referrals to prosthetic companies, if necessary
  • Evaluations for prosthetics
  • Residual limb assessments
  • Prosthetic fittings and adjustments
  • Gait analyses and mobility assessments
  • Prescriptions for physical therapy, if necessary
  • Written progress letters for clients' referring physicians
  • Monthly follow-ups until optimal level of function is achieved

Goal of Program

The goal of SJPHS' Prosthetic Clinic is to provide an interdisciplinary service that restores optimal function to clients with lower extremity amputations.

Staff

The staff of SJPHS' Prosthetic Clinic is comprised of physiatrists, prosthetists and physical therapists. Each member of our team is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in prosthetic care and the special needs of clients who have had amputations.

Accessing the Program

The SJH Prosthetic Clinic is located at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. The services provided through our Prosthetic Clinic are scheduled on a monthly basis. For a referral or for more information, please call 313-343-7069.
