St. John Providence appreciates its thousands of volunteers! Community members donate 275,000 hours of their time every year across our health system. Warm thanks to each of our volunteers for choosing us for their charitable work.

Since its start in 1990, the St. John Hospital Transplant Specialty Center, which offers both kidney and pancreas transplants, has also performed some groundbreaking procedures, including: Michigan’s first laparoscopic kidney donor nephrectomy, and Michigan’s first non-directed living donor kidney transplant!
