What do they do?

Pharmacists monitor patient's medication, teach patients about their medication and provide drug information. They also control and oversee distribution of medications in the hospital.

Where do they work?

|
Retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, research and development as well as sales.
|

Educational Requirements
|
|
In Michigan, all pharmacy schools have progressed to a six-year program, which allows everyone to graduate with a Pharm.D in the Science of Pharmacy. MI Pharmacy and Controlled Substance license is also required.
